A few important changes have been introduced to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) In-Demand Occupations List. MPNP updates its In-demand Occupations List regularly and the immigration streams under MPNP select candidates for provincial nomination based on this List, unless stated otherwise.
The Manitoba In-demand Occupations List is applicable to certain pathways under the Skilled Workers Overseas stream (SWO), the Skilled Workers In Manitoba stream (SWM) and the International Education Stream (IES). Throughout this year, Manitoba has been conducting regular draws to each of these immigration streams.
Changes to the Manitoba In-demand Occupations List:
For the first time, the MPNP has indicated which immigration stream each of the occupations in the in-demand occupations list is eligible for. Language requirements have been changed for seven positions and seven other occupations have been removed from the list, as part of the changes.
