Ontario Reopen Its Masters Graduate Stream for International Graduates

Ontario, one of the most popular Canadian provinces has multiple pathways for immigration intakes which allows the province to meet its set demands of the province. One of the most notable immigration programs of the province is the Masters Graduates Stream which allows the province to nominate candidates to apply for a Canadian permanent residence.

Ontario reopened its Masters Graduate Stream on the 30th of April and the limits were reached in no time. The limits were 1000 registrations and the limits were reached during this intake. During the April 30th intake, a total of 667 registrations happened. The intake which happened on the 5th of March took 333 registrations. Both draws added up to the total of 1000 and this has reached its limit.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program stated that individuals who have been successful will be receiving a confirmation number from the e-Filing Portal and the same will happen usually within three business days.

Once an applicant receives a file number, he/she will be having 14 days to submit an application to Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program and if not the same being done, the registration of the individual will expire.

Ontario has well understood the importance of immigration and the role potential immigrants could play in developing the economy of the country which is why Ontario has multiple immigration streams with it taking in immigrants every now and then!
