A world report on Best Global Universities by US News has named the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, & McGill University among the top 100 global universities.
Schools were evaluated based on their research performance and their ratings by members of the academic community around the world and within North America.

Every year, nearly 350,000 foreign nationals study across various Canadian universities.
The University of Toronto is globally ranked 18 for its quality of the papers published, global research reputation, and 77,468 international student population.
The University of British Columbia is placed in the 35th position globally for its National TRIUMF subatomic physics laboratory, Centre for Sustainable Food Systems, Institute for Healthy Living, and Chronic Disease Prevention. The total international student population is 58,590.
While McGill University is ranked 40 globally for its research centers which achieved the creation of the first artificial blood cell and 32,309 international student population.
