British Columbia has been quite active in helping immigrants migrate to Canada. As of this year, BC has issued a considerable number of invitations to candidates who look forward to immigrating to that province. The latest tech pilot draw held on the 16th of April issued 71 invitations to candidates and the most important thing of all is that the minimum scores have been dropped to 90!
British Columbia’s Tech Pilot Draw is one of the unique programs of British Columbia. Launched during the year 2017, the British Columbia Tech Pilot Program aims to take in talents to improve the technology sector and help grow it further.
The draw held on the 16th of April issued 71 invitations to candidates. The minimum scores that were needed for all the four featured streams were 90. The four featured streams were Express Entry for international graduates & skilled workers, provincial streams international graduates & skilled workers.
It should be noted that the previous British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program Tech Pilot draw had scores as high as 100 and the previous draw held on the 23rd of January issued 45 invitations. The scores of the 16th April Draw are being mentioned below:

- Express Entry British Columbia International Graduate – 90
- Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker – 90
- Skills Immigration – International Graduate – 90
Requirements that Should be Met to Get Invited Under BC PNP Tech Pilot Draw: –
- The candidate should be having a job offer under one of the 29 targeted occupations.
- The job offer must be for at least a minimum of one-year duration.
- The job offer must be valid for a minimum of 120 days at the time of the application.
