Loyalist College is one of Canada’s most vibrant and diverse public-funded post-secondary education institutions and is situated in the city of Belleville on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario. It offers a wide variety of career-oriented, English-language programs as well as an excellent educational experience.
The college was founded in 1967, but it has a history in education dating back more than 50 years. Scholarship
International students at Loyalist College Canada may apply for athletic scholarships worth up to 1.82 lakhs annually. Every student-athlete on a Loyalist College varsity team will be eligible for $1500 per semester, and athletes on two-semester teams (basketball & volleyball) may receive up to $3000 per season, the highest amount permitted by the Ontario College Athletic Association (OCAA).
Students are required to sign an agreement with certain regulations to avail the scholarship:
- You should be a full-time Loyalist College student
- Academic requirements set by the athletic department must be met by the student
- Abide by the rules and regulations of the athletic team
- High level of fitness to complete all the fitness testing
