British Columbia under its Provincial Nominee Program invited candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. Individuals who have received a provincial nomination certificate from British Columbia will be receiving 600 additional CRS Scores which will increase their chances to get a Canadian PR.
British Columbia, one of the unique Canadian provinces has been inviting candidates under its Provincial Nominee Program. British Columbia invites candidates under the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC streams which is available to individuals who have an active Express Entry Profile. The Express Entry System, introduced during the year 2015 is responsible for Canada’s three most economic immigration programs, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program and the Canadian Experience Class.
The draw held on the 26th of March invited 242 candidates under the Skilled Workers, International Graduates and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker Categories of BC PNP. Individuals who received a provincial nomination should have first registered with British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program’s Skills Immigration Registration System. Skills Immigration Registration System is nothing but the unique points-based system which British Columbia uses to evaluate candidates based on factors like age, education, work experience, language proficiency & certain other factors.
What should definitely be noticed is that an additional 23 number of invitations were issued to BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration Candidates. The candidates had registration scores as low as 106. The scores for each category for the draw held on the 26th of March are being mentioned below:
- Express Entry British Columbia Skilled Worker – 100
- Express Entry British Columbia International Graduate – 105
- Skills Immigration Skilled Worker – 94
- Skills Immigration International Graduate – 100
- Skills Immigration Entry Level and Semi-Skilled – 73
