In the past few years, Canada PNP has been gaining huge popularity among Canada immigration aspirants as the most viable and fast-track pathway to move to Canada permanently. Unlike other important pathways such as the federal Express Entry, Canada PNP gives a chance to even those candidates who do not have a job offer and those having low Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score to apply for immigration. While certain streams and categories under Provincial Nominee Programs demand the candidates to have a job offer, certain other streams/categories do not require candidates to have a job offer to qualify.

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

The fast-growing economy of Saskatchewan demands more skilled workers to sustain the growth. The Occupations In-Demand sub-category under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) allows candidates without a job offer to apply for a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan. To become eligible under this sub-category, the candidates must meet certain criteria, which are:

  • Legal residential status in the country from where the candidate is applying
  • Minimum language proficiency in English or French equal to Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4
  • Post-secondary level education or training with a duration of at least one year
  • Work experience in a highly skilled occupation classified under NOC 0, A or B. The work experience must of at least one year acquired within the past 10 years.
  • Possess licenses that are required practice the candidate’s profession in Saskatchewan
  • Sufficient settlement funds to start a new life in Saskatchewan and support family members
  • Score of at least 60 out of 100 in the unique points grid system of Saskatchewan.

QSWP (Quebec Skilled Worker Program)

Candidates without a job offer may obtain Canada PR through Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP). In order to apply under the Program, the candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Legal residential status in the country from where the candidate is applying
  • Language proficiency equal to at least Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB)4 in English or French
  • Education qualification equal to post-secondary level education or training
  • At least one year’s work experience acquired during the past 10 years in a highly skilled occupation (classified under NOC 0, A or B) related to the candidate’s field of study.
  • Required professional licenses
  • Settlement funds enough to start a new life in Quebec
  • Score of at least 60 out of 100 in the unique points grid system of Quebec.

Nova Scotia Nominee Program

Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) gives an opportunity to candidates without a job offer to migrate to Canada, provided they meet the following requirements:

  • The candidate’s age must be between 18 and 49
  • They must meet the minimum language requirements
  • They must have work experience of at least one year in the designated field
  • Education qualification must be equal to Canadian diploma or certification
  • They must demonstrate intention to live and work in Nova Scotia
