Among the many immigration programs that are inviting people into Canada frequently, British Columbia’s Tech Pilot Program has been doing a pretty good job over the years of time. In its recent Tech Pilot Draw held on the 12th of March, British Columbia invited 35 eligible skilled workers & graduates.
Introduced in the year 2017, British Columbia’s Tech Pilot Program has been helping the province bring in some of the skilled tech workers & entrepreneurs. The Tech Pilot program’s primary purpose is to improve the technology sector of British Columbia.
The Tech Pilot Draw held on the 12th of March issued 35 invitations to candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. The requirements are that the particular candidate should be having a job offer which is valid for a minimum of at least one year and the job offer must have a minimum of 120 remaining days when applying. The individual’s occupation should be falling under one of the 29 occupations that are considered key under the Tech Pilot Program.
Express Entry British Columbia and Skilled Immigration candidates belonging to the International Graduate & Skilled Worker categories were invited in this draw. The scores were 97 & 89 and the candidates were required to register with British Columbia’s Skills Immigration Registration System to be considered eligible under the Tech Pilot program and receive an invitation under the same.
On receiving an Invitation, the candidate will be getting 600 additional CRS Scores which eventually will improve their chances to obtain a Canadian PR. The minimum scores for this particular Tech Pilot Draw are being mentioned below:
