Nova Scotia, in its March 20th Draw issued Letters of Interest to French Speaking candidates. The Express Entry Labour Market Priorities Stream Draw issued 308 Letters of Interest to candidates who meet certain specific conditions.
Nova Scotia is one of the Canadian provinces which provides immigrants with high employment opportunities and an even higher standard of living when compared to most of the other provinces. The draw held on March 20th was specifically for candidates who speak French and they need to have a CLB score of 7 plus in all the four modules (reading, speaking, writing & listening).
The individuals were also required to have a minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark score of 5 in English in all the four modules and the particular individual who has received a letter of interest will have 30 calendar days to submit a completed application form.
Below mentioned are the requirements that an individual should have met for the March 20th Draw:
- The first and the foremost requirement being, the candidate should have submitted a profile to the Express Entry pool (on or after the 20th of September 2018).
- The candidate should have taken French as their first language and a Canadian Language Benchmark score of 7.
- In addition to that, a CLB score of 5 or higher is needed in English Language.
- Finally, the applicant should hold with him/her a Bachelor’s degree or a three year course at an university, college or other institutes.
Nova Scotia’s Labour Market Priorities Stream Draw was issued during 2018 August and the March 20th Draw was the third draw conducted via this stream. With the immigration targets increased for this year and the upcoming years, it is expected that Nova Scotia will be inviting more number of individuals to migrate in the near future!
