Another major change that the Government has introduced is that the students should have had their study permit visa valid at some point and it is not mandatory that the study permit should be valid when they apply for a PGWP Visa.
The Post Graduate Work Permit Visa, an open work permit visa and the most favoured one among students allow them to work in any of the Canadian provinces once getting done with their studies for a period of up to three years. On getting skilled work experience that falls under the NOC Categories A or B or 0, students can then apply for a Canadian PR Visa.
The made changes are actually huge news for international students who pursue their education in Canada and who are looking forward to applying for a Post-Graduation Work Permit Visa. Removing the valid study visa requirement and doubling the application time means students get ample time to apply for a PGWP Visa which eventually will help them to get Canadian work experience paving the path for them to obtain a Canadian Permanent Resident Visa.
