British Columbia, one of the thirteen Canadian provinces and also an increasingly becoming tech spot of Canada is welcoming immigrants on a constant basis in order to improve the economic growth & the technological sector of the province. In its Tech Pilot Draw held on the 19th of January, British Columbia invited 28 Skilled Immigration and Express Entry Candidates.
British Columbia’s Tech Pilot Draw was introduced during the year 2017 in order to take in tech skilled workers who could improve the province’s technological sector. It should also be noted that the Tech Pilot Program is one of the major immigration programs of the province and is being given high priority.
On the draw held on the 19th of February, British Columbia issued 28 invitations to eligible Skills Immigration & Express Entry Candidates. It should be noted that individuals who are receiving an Invitation to Apply will be gaining a massive 600 CRS Scores (Comprehensive Ranking System Scores), which will be playing a predominant role during the Express Entry Draws.
Invitation received applicants should be demonstrating a minimum of one-year valid job offer in one of the 29 occupations which are in-demand within the province. Prior to this, he/she should have created a profile both under the Express Entry Pool and British Columbia’s Skills Immigration Registration System to be considered qualified.
Below listed are the scores (minimum) for each category that was included in the 19th February Draw:
- Express Entry British Columbia Skilled Worker – 85
- Express Entry British Columbia International Graduate – 94
- Skilled Immigration – Skilled Worker – 85
- Skilled Immigration – International Graduate – 94
