Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the first all-program Express Entry draw of April, issuing 3,500 invitations to apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence (PR).
April 12 Express Entry draw had a higher qualifying score points than the previous all-program Express Entry draw. The latest round of invitations is the fifth all-program Express Entry in 2023 and the tenth overall.
Canada considered older registered profiles in the federal pool by keeping the tie-breaker cut-off date as close to July 19, 2022. The tie-break rule is beneficial in cases where two or more candidates end up with the same CRS score.
