Why Canada PNP is the best alternative for Canada PR?
According to the latest Immigration Levels Plan 2021-23, Canada is looking forward to admitting over 80,000 new permanent residents annually through various Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs). These PNPs are operated under 80 immigration streams including economic-immigration, family immigration, entrepreneur immigration spread across 11 Canadian provinces and territories.
Over the years of evolution of Canadian Immigration accomodating more immigrants to support the country’s economy and society, the following trends are evident showing Canada PNP to be the best alternative to apply for permanent residence:
- Bilingual candidates are given preference: The Canadian province of Saskatchewan introduced a new change that came into effect on November 24, 2020. Under the new change, those immigration candidates who are proficient in both English and French will now receive additional provincial points.
Eligible candidates under the International Skilled Worker-Express Entry category would receive an additional 10 points, depending on the language proficiency of the candidate.
This is in line with the federal government’s aim to increase the French-speaking population outside Quebec to 4.4% of the total population.
- Preference for Express Entry profiles: PNPs run by provinces like British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Nova Scotia have regularly made use of the federal pool in fulfilling their labor demands.
- Business Immigration: Entrepreneur/Investor friendly programs from Ontario, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Newfoundland & Labrador, Prince Edward Island actively nominated eligible foreign entrepreneurs to settle in Canada. Now that the COVID-19 pandemic has hit the reset button, Canada is in need of more new foreign entrepreneurs to invest & settle in Canada permanentely.
