    Requirement for overseas applicant

    To be considered for the given subclass 190, the applicant must meet the following criteria (same for subclass 491 skilled work regional (provisional) visa),

    • Received the formal offer for a job that remains based in Tasmania and remains highly relevant for the nominated occupation.
    • The applicant, along with the dependent, did not live in any other territory or State of Australia in the last 12 months.
    • The applicant will be required to provide the evidence regarding employment claims.
    • The employer who employs you must have remained with the operating of their businesses in the state for the last 12 months.

    2. Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa- Subclass 491

    This pathway is for the skilled migrants who, for the past 6 months, worked in Tasmania with skills assessment that does not remain on the Tasmanian Onshore Skilled Occupation List or TOSOL.

    b. Tasmanian Skilled Graduate Pathway
    This pathway is available for the Tasmanian graduates who completed one year at least of the full-time study with the registered education provider with Tasmanian CRICOS.

    c. Tasmanian Established Resident Pathway
    The pathway remains open for the skilled migrants who remain employed and also have lived in the state for last 2 years.

    d. Tasmanian Business Operator Pathway
    This pathway is for the skilled migrants who established as well as operated their businesses successfully in Tasmania in the last 12 months.

    e. Overseas Applicant (Job Offer) Pathway
