This week Provincal Nominee Program (PNP) draw results from August 12-18 is particularly important as Ontario issued its first entrepreneur stream draw since 2021 while British Columbia held two separate round of nomination draws targeting Express Entry profiles in tech occupations.
The biggest advantage for Express Entry candidates to obtain provincial nomination is addition of 600 points to an individual’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. It significantly increases one’s chances of receiving an invitation to appl(ITA) for permanent residency (PR) from IRCC.
Additionally, healthcare professionals and educators were also invited by Ontario and British Columbia to qualify for Canada PR
